What We Do
LEARN2WORK.
Learn2Work participants obtain their GED preparation, gain professional skills development and a paid job placement in an exciting career of their choosing.
Learn2Work is a 12-week program, which is structured into two (2) modules :

1. Learn Module
Learn Module provides participants with individually designed learning plans and course instruction in preparation to obtain their GED.
Additionally, participants receive comprehensive professional and personal skill development that includes employer recognized soft-skills, job-readiness training and access to relevant social services.
2. Work Module
Work Module connects participants with a paid job placement in a career path of the participants choosing. During the Work Module, participants receive personalized case management, job coaching and further professional development supports.

REIMAGINE.EDU
Reimagine.EDU is a first-of-its-kind collaboration with Toronto-areas high schools that seeks to improve student achievement among Black and African-Diasporic students.

How Does Reimagine.EDU Work?
Youth LEAPS partners with select high schools to offer the Reimagine.EDU course which is designed to support students who have demonstrated early signs of disengagement and are at risk of dropping out.
These signs include low credit attainment, incidences of behavioural mismanagement and absenteeism/attendance.
What does Reimagine.EDU offer participants?
- Culturally relevant/responsive curriculum
- Academic, Community, and Personal development training and workshops
- Independent Graduation Plan counseling
- Assistance with Post-Secondary entrance
- Community and Civic engagement through school and community partnership
- Coordinated access to social services

HIGHLIGHTS
Nearly 100 students have taken the Reimagine.EDU course and have reported the following outcomes and impacts:
- Improved literacy and numeracy levels among participants
- Increased credit attainment

- Increased access to necessary social services

- Decreased behavioural issues

LEAPS LABS
LEAPS LABS are designed to allow our partners to work alongside like-minded stakeholders to exchange ideas, mobilize knowledge, identify emerging issues, collaborate on possible solutions. LEAPS LABS includes members from various sectors including education, employment, housing, healthcare and many others.
Sample of topics that have been covered by the LEAPS LABS include:
